Courtney Linford Lawes, born on February 23, 1989, in Hackney, England, is a formidable English rugby union player. 

Standing at 6'7" and weighing 262 lbs, Lawes plays as a flanker for CA Brive and formerly for the England national team. He made his club debut for Northampton Saints in 2007 and has been a key player for both club and country. 

Lawes has represented England in over 100 international matches and was part of the squads for the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cups.

Known for his physicality and leadership, Lawes was inducted into the Rugby Players' Association Hall of Fame in 2024.
